Instrumentum duos impulsores pontis H et indicem microgradualem habet, et destinatum est ad impulsionem motoris bipolaris. Impulsor egressus constat ex MOSFETs potentiae canalis N, qui ut pontes H pleni configurantur, ad impellendas convolutiones motoris. DRV8824 potest impulsare usque ad 1.6 A currentis ex unoquoque egressu (cum dissipatione caloris propria, ad 24 V et 25°C).

Interfacies simplex STEP/DIR facilem nexum cum circuitibus moderatoris praebet. Clavi modi configurationem motoris in modis graduum plenorum usque ad 1/32 graduum permittunt. Modus decrescentiae ita configurabilis est ut decrescentia lenta, decrescentia celeris, vel decrescentia mixta adhiberi possint.
