Instrumentum ISO7021 est isolator digitalis multicanalis, energiae infimae, qui ad separandas inscriptiones/extractiones digitales CMOS vel LVCMOS adhiberi potest. Quisque canalis isolationis inscriptionem logicam et inscriptionem exitus habet, quae duplici insulatione capacitiva dioxidi silicii (SiO2) separata sunt. Architectura innovativa, quae marginem innititur et modulationem ON-OFF coniungitur, his isolatoribus energiam infimam consumere permittit, dum aestimationem isolationis 3000-VRMS secundum UL1577 attingunt. Consumptio dynamica currentis per canalem instrumenti sub 120 μA/Mbps est, et consumptio statica currentis per canalem 4.8 μA ad 3.3 V est, quod usum ISO7021 in designis systematum tam energiae quam thermalis coercitarum permittit.

Instrumentum tam humiliter quam 1.71 V, tam altum quam 5.5 V operari potest, et plene functionale est cum diversis tensionibus alimentationis in utroque latere claustri isolationis. Isolator bicanalis venit in involucro angusto 8-SOIC cum uno canali directo et uno reverso in involucro 8-SOIC. Instrumentum optiones egressus alti et humilis praedefinitas habet. Si potentia ingressus vel signum perditur, egressus praedefinitus altus est pro instrumento ISO7021 sine suffixo F et humilis pro instrumento ISO7021F cum suffixo F.
